Default TOOTHACHE

My boyfriend is driving me insane because he has got toothache, but he cant go to the dentist just now, so i was wondering if anybody knows any remedies without going to the dentist. How do you deal with the pain, apart from taking painkillers? I really dont know what to say to him.

Soak a small ball of cotton wool in whisky, then keep in place over the aching gum and tooth to ease the pain. Oil of cloves really is a good painkiller for toothache, its icky when it goes on your tongue though!

After eating Combine two tablespoons of salt with one cup of boiling water; take a mouthful of water as hot as possible and slosh it around your mouth near the tooth; repeat as necessary. This will get all the food from the affected tooth!

I totally feel his pain. I'm having a problem right now too and I just don't have the $200 deductible to get it fixed. AmandaWAU gave me a great tip that has really helped - she said to get some of that sensitive tooth paste and keep the paste on it.

I found this tip online.. You may wonder why toothaches usually strikes at night when you lie down to go to sleep. The cause is the increased pressure towards your head. Keep your head elevated to decrease the pressure in the area.

You have insurance now so you'd better get your ass to the dentist before it gets worse and worse then you'll be in some serious trouble and wind up needing a root canal.

Thank you all for your precious suggestions, i know myself that toothache is really bad, maybe worse than a headache.
