I will get downvoted, but to hell with it:

Why hate on a man who wants to win? I truly understand why people are frustrated and why the team he went to makes the situation worse, but threatening his life and using absurd and ludicrous insults is uncalled for.

There's a difference between joining one of the best teams of all time and doing what LeBron did in 2010. I understand wanting to win, but there's no way he'd be receiving this much hate if he went to Boston.

It just comes off as a bit hypocritical when he took to Twitter a few years back saying "and now everyone wants to go play with the Heat and Lakers ... let's keep it competitive" and how he just single-handedly put a stranglehold on the West. It makes the NBA look super boring with no parity.

Oh I agree with that. It is hypocritical. But I will never understand the immense anger and hatred fans feel towards certain athletes who take control of their careers and do what's best for themselves.

As for the parity aspect, I agree. There really isn't. Only two legit title contenders.

Totally. I don't hate the dude, I just hate what the NBA is becoming because of this. Being a fan of a small market team in the West just became not worth it, honestly. You pretty much know going into the season it's gonna be 1 to 2 teams from each side now if you're lucky.

Oh well, I've been becoming more and more bored with the NBA anyway. This just furthers the already sinking feeling that it'll keep the trend up in the future.

There are 2 title contenders for the next 3 years IMO. Cleveland and Golden State
