Give your thoughts on who would be the meanest eleven players who have represented the Red Devils. My 11 would be:
Harry Gregg - Pulled survivors out of the Munich wreckage, nuff said.
Nobby Stiles - Looked like a bank manager off the pitch, played like a toothless assassin on it.. lol
Jaap Stam - Scary looking and absolutely enormous. Still remember him physically bullying the Inter Milan attackers in 99.
Nemanja Vidic - Very much in the Jaap Stam school of physicality, but could play a bit too. The muscle to back up Rio's brains.
Kevin Moran - First player sent off in an FA Cup Final, also excelled at Gaelic Football so could definitely handle himself.
Roy Keane - the list is endless, but facing down Viera in the Highbury tunnel probably was of my favorite memories of his willingness to front up for the team and god help you if you got in the way.
Eric Cantona - Well we've only had one player try and fight an opposition supporter before, so he had to get in.
Bryan Robson - played with a dislocated shoulder, various injuries and got the job done.
Bobby Charlton - Showed a lot of courage coming back from the trauma of Munich, losing all his friends and teammates and going on to have such a wonderful career
Joe Jordan - Broke a Tottenham goalkeeper's jaw in an FA Cup match, known as 'Jaws' cos he was missing teeth.
Mark Hughes - Quiet softly spoken gentleman off the pitch, sweaty, chippy angry bastard on it.
