Which Team Do You Fear most This Season? (self.reddevils)

With City signing Nolito, Arsenal signing Xhaka & Chelsea signing Batshitratatouille, who seems like the best business? Obviously it's early days and more transfers are yet to happen but do you think this season will be another case of 10 teams fighting for top 4 or will it go back to a dominant quadrant?

Chelsea with Conte.

If Liverpool were rumoured to sign, or do sign, competent players, i'd be worried. Like Gotze...But they got Mane, which is pretty underwhelming for them, so not bothered for now.

I still think Liverpool have a long way to go, in terms of rebuilding. Yes, Klopp is one of a kind, but their team spine is lacking anything to 'wow' about.

It would only take 2-3 signings for me to be scared of Liverpool under Klopp. So far they've made 0 in my opinion.

A solid left back.

If they signed Gotze instead of Mane.

A boss centre mid.

Composed CB.

Combine them with a fit Sturridge and they're a good team.

He won't revolutionise them in one season, it will take time. They need to rebuild and he needs to translate his ideas across and get all the players to understand his ways, it will take time

Arsenal have a solid team but their nothing to really worry about. City with pep and Chelsea with conte are gonna be challenging for the title next year for sure!

I actually think both City and Chelsea will not be as good as people think in the first few months. Huge period of adaptation for both Guardiola and Conte.

I think Conte's defensive tactics will help him mould easier to the league, rather than Pep trying to get 46 passes together around Scott Dann

Surely Conte's defensive tactics will help improve how Chelsea defend but they've got some gaps to fix in that defense. Need a new CB and maybe a new RB, depending on where Azpilicueta will play. Also desperately need Matic back to his best for the best possible outcome.

I think so. Mikel isn't great and their other options are all pretty inexperienced in England (Loftus-Cheek, Pasalic, Van Ginkel, if the latter 2 even stay).

Chelsea. Their team under achieved last season and they should be up there without having to concentrate on European football. Conte is a great manager and did a very good job both with Juventus and the Italian national team. Arsenal should be up there as well if Wenger manages to sign a top striker.

I know we like to joke about Arsenal but their team is pretty much complete except for that top striker who'll guarantee 20-25 goals in the league.

If they manage to sign a more complete CB to parter Koscielny or even a more solid LB then bring in a dangerous quick forward, they would be very serious contenders.

Especially if Ramsey carries his Euro form into the league.

Not many people no here have said Spurs. I think if they add one or two players plus not losing anyone they will be hard to beat.

City I don't know, I just know I think so far they have not done much in the market.

Arsenal again they have to buy a striker if they can get that they will have a good season if not they may struggle.

I think we will do well if it all comes together. Even if we don't win the league we come second as the "little horse".

Chelsea and City are my two main concerns. Chelsea have a top manager and are bringing in some good players.

City have on paper one of the best managers in the world (not entirely convinced until he proves himself here, where he hasn't inherited the best team by a country mile). They are also bringing in some good players.

Gonna be interesting either way :)

Leicester is a force to be reckon with. Crystal Palace didn't play around with signings like Mandanda, Benteke and could challenge for top 6 at least. Chelsea with Conte also dangerous the way I look he managed Italy in euro. West Ham too going to aim higher than last season.

My point being, the EPL is no longer like before as lower mid table club ain't just gonna give up when playing superior team and they going to take the Leicester/Iceland approach.

Palace haven't signed Benteke (yet?). But even if they do, there's no way they're going to challenge for top 6, their midfield and defense is nowhere near good enough for that. No great squad depth, and not a great manager either. They'll be solid mid table.
