For the purposes of this subreddit, we use the current FBI definition of a serial killer: TWO OR MORE separate incidents with a cooling-off period in between.
Mass murderers kill two or more people in one incident in one location.
Spree killers kill two or more in one incident in two or more locations without a cooling-off period.
For killers that do not fit the definition of a serial killer, please try /r/allkillers.

Didn't think this needed its own rule, but: NO INSULTS, NAME CALLING, AND STUPID BULLSHIT. You get one warning, then you get banned. You can argue and have unpopular opinions all you want, but the line gets drawn at personal attacks.

We will be posting a thread every Sunday where you can share links to your personal websites or anything that would be classified as self-promotion - any personal links posted outside of this thread will be considered spam and deleted.
