A lot of people in this thread mocking LVG but I think he made some decent signings. It's just most of them were misused or under performed because of his system. I'm glad he got replaced and I think we should just look toward the future, not the past.

I think he gave us a good backbone but we needed a few world class players to allow us to challenge going forward. Maybe world class is a stretch but players with a lot of quality. Zlatan and Miki are prime examples and I don't think LVG could attract that quality of player

Obviously, that's why I said I'm glad he got replaced. But we needed improvements in a lot of areas and gave us the backbone. I thank him for that and now we look to the future.
