One. The best CM that we can attract.
If we buy anyone beyond that, it will be an opportunity signing, someone who we don't really need but is too high quality to ignore.

I think we could get James Rodriguez if Jose wants him as he has no Place in RM under Zidane, but i expect him to give Rooney a chance this season and then probably go for someone like James if that doesn't work out.

I'd personally like;

World class CM

CB for rotation (Could be experienced, 28+)

We don't have a strong midfield presence, I believe. We need somebody with a killer pass, who can control the game, and open up more opportunities.

The defender would be great for rotation, and injury crisis. I know we have plenty of cover, but they're not players I currently trust to do the job.

At Porto he brought in 15 new signings in his first, 10 at Chelsea, 7 at Inter and 6 at Madrid.

Who do you see as realistic improvements? Only one i can think of is Pogba and even he's not too realistic. Please dont say James. He dosent want to leave real at all and has even said he'll stay and fight for his place.

Busquets or Verratti would be my dream signing for CM which obviously won't happen but Pogba would be very interesting and the only one that is even remotely possible. I feel that our current options are not awful and the only thing that would make sense is a huge marquee signing or nothing.

At least 2.At the moment United only have one proven central defender, so I definitely think they'll have another veteran coming in for that position, and I think a center mid is an obvious addition.

I also wouldn't be surprised to add another winger, because after Mkhitaryan and Martial there's a lot of question marks with the options they have out wide.

Lastly assuming Rooney moves to the midfield and Martial stays out wide they seem a little thin up front, but they at least have those two available to play the position so I wouldn't quite consider that a priority.
