It's not a myth but it does very much depend on the type of player and mentality they have. Ibra won't back down and Mhk is a workhorse so they shouldn't have any problems. Bailley might take some time

My hope is with an improved core team and play style we will hopefully not be as defensively reliant meaning it's easier for any defensive players to settle in rather than be thrown in at the deep end due to incompetent managers or teammates who leak goals.

Serious question guys.

Are we worried about the recent dip in form from Mkhitaryan? Just last week he was a superb, versatile, skilful midfielder who scores goals and makes assists, then since it emerged that we were in pole position to sign him his quality totally dipped...

...at least according to Liverpool, Arsenal and City fans on /r/soccer, that is. Which is really strange because when you search for Mkhitaryan on reddit all the above clubs have a thread dedicated to how their club should buy him.

    I'm thinking if Mata leaves, it's not Ibra who gets no 8 but rather Mkhi. Will be interesting to see what actually happens because there are just so many possibilities..     I think 11 would really fit Martial, considering it was Giggsy's number and they are both similar in many things (both can dribble, score goals, young talents, fast, etc.)

    I'm hoping he gets stuck out right where he can be a two-way influence and Mata hopefully gets put back to his central position.

    The Rooney, Mata, Schweini, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Felly puzzle is going to be huge for Jose, I don't see us keeping all of them, but I think the odd one out has to be Ander.

    Felly may not be as good technically,but his physical presence alongside Zlatan means that teams can't just throw two players at him or just stick Matic on him because those two in the air would just be impossible to deal with. I think in a game like Leicester they'd just be able to cause havoc for Huth and Morgan unlike any other team.

    I can de-hype quite easily on Zlatan tbh. He's turning 35 and many games can be hit or miss with him. Anyway, the Zlatan brand value alone is enough to be exited. We haven't had a world top 5 name in the squad since hairproduct-lad-with-the-giant-Adam's-apple left for Real.
