I've asked this question many times here without getting an answer and I am pointing my finger at you America.
My question is "What kind of functioning democracy panders to minorities?"
Every day I see talk about gay rights, black lives matter, bathrooms, Kaitlyn Jenner, etc. etc.
My one prevailing question is, how do people think a democracy works? Minorities AREN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE EQUAL EVERYTHING. That's why MAJORITY vote rules. That's literally what a democracy is. You VOTE and the MAJORITY wins.
How can America export democracy all over the world when it doesn't even know what it is?
Why does society choose to pander to minorities? Why are jewish people "special" and need to be "protected" because of their specific religious affiliation. Is that even IMPORTANT AT ALL!?
Why do "minorities" feel held down by "white people" (a culturally diverse group of human beings that have almost nothing in common with one another many of whom are also "minorities")?
Do you believe in democracy or do you believe in equality?
