Might i suggest SV do a force password reset? back when i was working as a core developer on a different game, we had a database issue similar to this, however it was a disgruntled former employee. We did force password resets making it a mandatory change upon login. With email confirmation.

Is there any way that a man in the middle network attack is perform since there is no LIVE database stored banking information?

Attempting to Access another persons bank account after stealing their information, is a Federal Crime.

DoS and illegally obtaining information from secure storages, is a Federal Crime.

Sweeden, has active laws against these activities.

If SV were to bring this to court, he would held in jail until the case was settled, forcing him to pay a very large bail if he wanted to see the light of day. I believe it is a maximum of 2 years per attack, and there enough proof to file several dozen cases at this point in time.

Even so much as contacting his local police and providing them with the proper proof to raid and search his home under heavy suspicions of illegal activity via internet would be devastating to him....

 

Nah its probably just people too lazy to change their passwords, i don't think there is any conspiracy here. He probably just did a weak SQLi or something to get the database information and is running on old info.
