Napoli, from Herrera to competing with Manchester United for Fabinho: the updates

Napoli is eager to strengthen the squad Maurizio Sarri will have at the beginning of next season. One of the club’s priorities is finding a full-back, there are diverse players on the radar. One of these players is Thomas Meunieur from Club Bruge however PSG is also pressing to have the player. Another path could be the one that leads to  Fabinho, the negotiations for the Brazilian would be very tough especially because his agent, Jorge Mendes, would like to bring him to Mourinho’s Manchester United. As such Silvan Widmer is now the likeliest candidate after the last three seasons at Udinese.

There aren’t just defenders on Napoli’s radar, a hot negotiation is still that involving Hector Herrera: it will have to be the Mexican to ask Porto to be sold. After the meetings that took place over the last few weeks, the transfer request will be handed in to Porto by the player’s agent. A player that could represent an opportunity for Napoli is Piotr Zielinski: Liverpool are still not closing for the Polish midfielder.
