I know a lot of people have been saying that Rooney as a midfielder is ineffective recently after the game against Iceland.

So I wanted to know where people think he would be used the best under Mou next year There are three primary positions 1. Central Midfield 2. Mou's #10 - so called 8.5-9.5 3. and Striker. (specifically, second striker or front striker)

I know that Ibra is coming, we have Rashford, and Martial if we need him - and even Young and Memphis as STs as we've seen before. But Rooney's been a great striker in the beginning of this year. 5 goals in 5 games? I reckon. I would like to see Rooney and Ibra at the front with Either Ibra or Rooney being a more of a CF behind the top striker - like

Ibra ---\ Rooney (like RvP and Rooney) or Rooney ---\ Ibra and if you put Rashford as an option it could be Rashford ---\ Rooney or Rashford ---\ Ibra

I know it's not right to judge a player after couple of games in his new position (midfield for Rooney in this case) and tactics do sometimes either show or hide a player's weakness/strength, So I will not say anything about either he's effective at midfield or not.

I've seen him in the #10 spot, and I did not like his performance last here there. It may change this year tho, who knows.
