Yesterday, /r/enoughtrumpspam sent this post to /r/all claiming that we censor discussion on this sub.

Banning Muslims from entering the US (even temporarily) is just misguided. As well, blaming illegal immigrants for America's problems is xenophobic, and perpetuates a scapegoat narrative that is harmful even to legal Mexicans in the US. These kinds of policies are definitely targeted to exploit people's fears about those who are different.

So you know what - I'll actually go through what each and every comment said.

The first comment visible in the screenshot was this

The user's edit was the most bullshit reasoning I've seen in a while - worse than what comes in from /r/shitredditsays and /r/againsthatesubreddits. Wanting to build a wall to stop illegal immigration is not xenophobic.

The next one was this. I left the reply as it it debunks all of the commenter's claims(even though it was sarcasm)

The next one was user removed

Here's the next one that was thoroughly debunked by a centipede again

    we're a nation of laws, folks.           They need to use straw men so that they can attempt to defeat your argument.           Illegal immigrants aren't even the real problem, since they're only reacting to politicosocioeconomic conditions in Mexico and the United States. They're only here to take advantage of economic opportunities that our politicians have provided for them, in terms of favorable employment options and generous government programs.           I see it as more of an injustice to those trying to come here legally. I know of a couple people who have been here working, and waiting for years to get their citizenship. Why should these illegal immigrants get a free pass? I don't even hold it against them that they try to flood over here bypassing the lengthy immigration process. I would too if I lived in a shed in Mexico. I would go on but I think everyone here understands the reasoning for a wall; SECURITY.             Trump hasn't violated civil rights at all in any of those situation, and I read through the articles. It seems to me the worst he did was defend his company, which any sane person would do if they were accused of being racist. And even in this situation, he wasn't ever found guilty, so he actually didn't even defend himself wrongly.

                I saw their post insinuating that trump supporters are fans of slavery, and wanted to remind them that this sickening attitude of branding everyone who disagrees with you as racist only serves to further divides in society and nothing else, look at brexit for example, I'm sure that happened in part because normal working people were sick of being called racist and bigots by arrogant liberal arts students who love to claim they represent the lower class, until they get the opportunity to prove how non-racist they are by pointing out the 'racism' of others (specifically those lower class individuals), just for wanting to talk about certain issues. Obviously I couldn't post it there so I decided to post it here.

                Even as a Trump fan, i think calling the brexit voters racist makes less sense than calling a Trump supporter racist. The EU is just domineering and there's plenty of reasons to have left that don't have to do with immigration. But it is clear immigration is an economical problem there as well, maybe even worse than in the US.

They are, but that's likely because they know if they get arrested they will be deported. Once you remove the fear of deportation their crimes will go up. This was discussed on the same source he probably used from immigrationpolicy.org.

                2. It was estimated it would cost 300 billion to deport the illegal immigrants, not 500. Some would leave on their own terms.

                3. The illegal immigrants only provide "massive wealth" because they are consumers. You can get that with any population. All of the economical loss from deporting the immigrants will be mostly due to population loss. It's not because they're some super productive citizens.

                4. No "specific" group of people is being deported. If he would have read the same source he probably used he would know this. About 20% of illegals are from Asia and Europe. Some are from the Middle East and Africa. The US would be deporting black, arabic, white, asian, and hispanic people. How is this a "specific" group of people, and how is it singling out a race?
