Why not have it both ways? Have you played The Witcher 3? The map is huge, and has plenty to discover. You can't run five minutes without stumbling on a monster lair, bandit camp, hidden treasure, or abandoned settlement to liberate.

Really? I love it.

The Witcher 3 does a lot of things much better than Skyrim or Oblivion did.

I'm not saying its a better game in the long run, but it really does succeed on many levels.

You can't seriously say the exploration in TW3 is better when most of the locations are much more static and the fact that there aren't even any dungeons.

It's not fucking comparable, they're both fantasy RPGs BUT THAT'S WHERE THE SIMILARITIES END.
