The boy is a gem. I'm aware I might be overreacting a bit, but he did more in 5 minutes than entire England team in 90...

Really glad to see him gain confidence.

When he came on earlier in the tournament he played well. Hate that some of the media using him as a knife to hit Roy with for picking him in the squad. Did more than sterling and kane

I aagree, but that's a bit of hyperbole there. England did win and convert a penalty in the first three minutes.

Sure, it did... but given the age and relative lack of experience on one, and general lack of any coherent gamelan on other side, I think rashford really surprised us all.

So really the way I see it, Kane is a good player, but not good enough to be considered every time over other options England had in their squad. He's been a bit off form and I would have liked to see Roy roll the dice way earlier with a change of pace at striker.

I know he's only 18 but he should've had way more game time than Roy gave him. Not a starting role, but at least bring him on in the 60th when it's clear that Sterling, Kane and Sturridge aren't doing enough.

I'm not biased, look at what he did when he came on for the last few minutes.

No doubt had he started over Kane, he'd have scored. He's better than him, Sturridge, and Vardy any day. Really gutted he didn't get to come on earlier. Didn't think Hodgson would bottle it this hard, yet here we are.
