    I don't know, 1.5 billion is pretty big, far bigger than all the armies in the world combined and more than all the white people in the world combined.

    You start shooting them and they will have no qualms with starting a guerrilla war and you'll probably get a civil war on top of that due to the rounding up a religious group and executing them setting a bad precedent.

    And then if it's just America doing it then the rest of the world will declare war on America to stop Holocaust 2.0 and in an ironic twist of events Russian Spetsnaz will be arming and training the muslims in urban combat and sabotage.

      Fuck off. I follow the laws of this country like any good american. I can find countless horseshit examples of prophets in the bible that I could tell you to go with. I was told by the mods that this place would be tolerant of moderate muslims who reject ass backwards practices like this and things that aren't culturally okay today. But I guess this place really is full of Islamaphobes.

      Well, hey now, clearly there are moderate Muslims, and moderate Trump supporters, we can all get along. Daesh is doing a great job of turning people against Islam though, and most of the other groups in Syria (as well as those leaving Syria) aren't helping. While I agree that not all Muslims are radicals, it's easy to see why people are getting carried away.

      To destroy Islamic Extremism it's going to be essential for the West and the Middle East to find some central ground and unit against this common enemy, though by the looks of things that seems unlikely. Airstrikes and regime can only stall the inherent problem.

      I agree man. That's why I like Trump. He's the only man with the balls to stand up to the one state propping up Islamic extremism. Saudi Arabia has been exporting Wahabism for too long and it needs to stop.

      Right, but it's more than Daesh, and more than Saudi Arabia. Daesh is hated almost universally, it's downfall is imminent and has been for a while, these things just take time when major powers aren't willing to put boots on the ground. They have lost a lot of ground in Syria, and are ill-equipped to hold the rest. It's acts like this that show their desperation which in my eyes is naive of them, because this is the exact same tactic that has lost them so much favor, and essentially their support for a caliphate.

      What needs to stop is Islamic extremism. And I just don't see that happening anytime soon. I believe that it will continue to be an issue until there is a larger conflict between major powers, and the global attention shifts elsewhere. Until then, we'll just have to deal with it, and hope that ethnic and religious discrimination stays 'bad' and not 'brink of war bad'. Though when people upvote comments like "Go rape some children like your beloved Prophet, you're insane." I tend to have my doubts.

      Tbh you're right. Toppling Saudi Arabia and Daesh won't stop Islamic extremism. What will stop extremism is education, a strong economy and helping the intrinsic democratic ideals in a country. It is no coincidence that Kuwait is the most secular and progressive of the Islamic nations. It's no coincidence that urban Iran absolutely loves America and are secular themselves. The people are there. They just need to establish proper, educational and capitalistic institutions to support modern thinking people. Islam led the world in rationalism before when the Caliphates were economic power houses. I don't think that's just a coincidence. It all just comes down to helping truly democratic grow at their own pace. In a place like Iran it would work beautifully. But shoving democracy down Afghanistan's throat was awful. Idk.
