Well...back again :)
So before I start this one, I'll reply to some of the SRS users that replied to my replied to the post:
/u/pandas795:
That's exactly what I'm saying, reddit users and admins are starting to get tired of other users. Try to keep up please
Don't like reddit? Getting tired of it? You can always delete your account.
HAHA WHAT IS IRONY??? You got so butthurt about SRS you made a multi part spiel crying about it. Holy shit, they don't have any self awareness
Yes, I made a post about a subreddit that breaks Reddit's TOS & Content policy. Pointing this out doesn't make me 'butthurt'.
I'll say this again:
Delete your account if you don't like reddit
/u/liberalparadies was begging for a mention, so here you go. She said:
Hey /u/dukbcaaj, when you add me to your salty edit, can you mention how you thought you had created formatting on reddit
Actually it was the opposite - you thought that I stoll HSROTD's 'formatting style' - because you obviously haven't heard of subheadings.
and whined for weeks in PMs to me after my write-up about KiA being a hate sub about how I "stole" your "style"?
bull.fucking.shit.
You were the one who had conniptions over PM reading my debunking of your shitty post.
Anyway,
Let's get started shall we?
Brigading (again)
I know that I somewhat spoke about it in the first post - but I'll go deeper this time - with more examples.
I could speak about how the earlier post was brigaded by SRS and how it went from 87% upvoted to 66% upvoted, but it wouldn't be enough, right?
Here's 3 clears examples of SRS brigading. As you can see, the posts went to the point of losing -96 votes. But it's not just those three post. If you look carefully - it's nearly every post they link.
Here's another post that was +109 when it was posted to SRS. After the brigade it became +13, but now it's sitting at +24
Here's a post that was +16 when posted to SRS. After the brigade it's at -152
Here's a post that was mass brigaded by SRS. It was at +181 at the time of posting. After the brigade, it's currently sitting at -560
Here's a great compilation of 19 instances of SRS brigading by /u/entp.
I decided to go check their front page for evidence. Here's one such example where karma dropped from +80 to 69. It isn't much, but still a brigade...
Here's another clear brigade which got a user's karma drop from +28 to +7, losing 21 karma.
Now many of you might think that it wasn't SRS that downvoted these comments - it could've just been others downvoting a comment they didn't like. However, here's a KIA post which shows that it's when comments get linked on SRS, the downvotes start to come in.
CONTENT
If SRS were to be a sub to point out actual hate on Reddit, it surely would point out hate like this or hate multireddits like this. But no, they consider being called 'crazy' offensive ( proof ). Or they mock homosexuals who say that it was easier for them to come out as gay than as a Trump supporter. Or they whine about anybody that mocks their idols. Or they complain about Notch stumping SJWs on Twitter.
Or they're just blatantly racist
Or they're just blatantly sexist
Or they're whining about other whining about certain buisnessmen who look shady(apparently, this is the shit reddit says)
Or here's a priceless comment saying that 'Debate is more of a power play and intimidation game than anything else'
Meanerwhile, let's take some time to recap what your average SRS thread looks like
SRS AFFILIATES
I'll start of with AMR - standing for /r/againstmensrights. Yes, the sub stands for what it suggests. There versions of mensrights is /r/menslib which is basically /r/srsmen or /r/shitredditsays for that matter, as there is no difference. Anyway, here's what happened there was a user on Reddit who said that he'd done some stuff that might be considered dodgy. A smart AMR moderator decided to track this user down and report him to the authorities (yes, it's called doxxing) and wrote this in a blog post of hers. She linked it to AMR, which obviously led to a retaliation by the user who came ahead on /r/mensrights and said that he had engaged in consensual role play. Following this, the user's (ex) girlfriend came out and said that she hadn't been raped by the user and criticised the AMR mod for not double checking her facts. Well, following this, the admins were smart enough to shadowban her (but not the sub) but it came of no use as she made another account and got remodded. After that second shadowbanning, she apparently hasn't come back. I'm not linking any of this as it's very 'doxy', however, /r/thepopcornstand had a good writeup on it
/r/amrsucks is a good sub that shows shit AMR does.
Now let's move over to /r/menslib. Hint: It's pathetic. They claim to be a feminist sub fighting for the rights of men.
Here's a post where they Orlando Shooting on 'Toxic Masculinity'
Here's a comment where they show their support for male genital mutilation
According to them only men need to be taught consent
A man was falsely accused of rape. Menslib tells him to get over it
An actual post relating to the men's rights is made in menslib, the mod removes it as it doesn't fit a feminist narrative
To celebrate the spirit of Menslib aka SRSmen 2.0 lets remember that 40 year old virgin who used AMR and SRSMen to try and get laid - that's srs for you.
I'll keep it to this for this post. Shoutout to /u/CaesarCzech. He wrote this long post on SRS, speaking about how shit they were.
