Russia restricts public displays of homosexuality because they are not as confident on the nature/nuture question as America is.
Seeing as the Russians have several decades more experience researching various methods of social subversion (and practicing it on the US....) and considering the apparent rapid proliferation of various forms of degeneracy in America youth.... I can't rule out the possibility that there is some merit to their position.
I say let them run their country as they see fit.

With all due respect, if Putin doesn't like it, that's his right not to. Gay is fine, but they need to learn they don't run the show, in Russia or the U.S. That is my point...too many gays act like SJWs...telling the straights what we will/will not do; what we can/cannot like regarding them.

Modern degeneracy and SJWism didn't develop in a vacuum. Sexual liberation, women empowerment are necessary precursors and as such should be fought against.

Im just as pro-trump and anti SJWism as the other guys, but i think that "sexual liberation" and "empowering women" is more of just "treating everyone as human beings" and "not being assholes"
Like, holy shit. guns lead to shootings. But im not gonna ban guns. Heterosexual relationships can lead to domestic violence and rape. But that doesnt mean you should ban those. Kids living their whole life in their parents basement came from parents not just being assholes and forcing their kid to work in the factory the day they turn 13, but that doesnt mean we should go back to that.
Fucking hell, donald trump is pro-women. He put them into positions of leadership. Just because youve apparently got issues with gay people and women doesnt mean that you should ban all that stuff.

Pretty sure the law you are speaking about was about gay "propaganda", which is not necessarily as egregious as banning gay coupling outright.
