Suppose a hypothetical legal document existed that a man could choose to sign at any time in his life, which permanently "vaccinated" him against ever contracting the "disease" of legally being able to enter into marriage or legally being responsible for any children. Something worded like: the notarized signatory of this document, has expressed sincere interest in permanently being rid of the legal liabilities of marriage, child support, and alimony, and from this day forward , in perpetuity, anyone attempting to saddle this person with such, will be entitled to absolutely nothing. Sort of like, instead of a pre-nuptial agreement, an anti-nuptial and/or anti-parentage agreement. Would you sign it?
Before you say that this is a farfetched idea, consider that here in the USA, in 2016, women now have access to government funded birth control pills, over the counter morning after pills, and as a last resort, abortions. Isn't it time we as a society , in light of the fact that women have all those tools at their disposal to prevent unwanted pregnancy, legally allow men, via paperwork, to completely disclaim any and all interest in having the child, say, only if it is greater than 6 months before the child is due, and thereby have absolutely no responsibility to support that child if taken to full term, even though a woman might choose to exercise her options to not use any of the preventions listed.
