This story stretches the bounds of believability.

The only possible answer is 1) quit and work somewhere else, and 2) bring your documentation of this situation to a local labor attorney and ask them whether something can or should be done.

If I had not seen it with my own eyes I would not have believed it either. They are now putting me through the same harassment. I was warned through several of the employees there through vague hints about how terrible the place was, but I was naive.

Quit.

Talk to local attorney.

In what method should I quit? I DO NOT want to back in person. Should I call or mail a letter? If I don't show up on monday they send a local police officer to your home for their equipment fee,I have seen them go two counties over to tell you to call and ask for your job back or they will search your vehicle or arrest you (make up a reason)

Just don't show up.

If the cops show up at your house, don't be home or don't open the door. Record the situation and listen to /u/BlatantConservative's advice.

If you stand to lose your apartment as well, then so much the better. Pack up and move somewhere else. No reason to stick around a town full of corrupt cops.

Oh and I can't quit. No one ever gets to quit, they want skilled people to build their product, they just don't want to pay them.

You can quit any time as long as the 13th amendment is still in effect.

So to clarify, one of your bosses and the police work together to shake people down for money? Thats a Color of Law thing.

Find the FBI field office in Richmond and contact them directly about this. Actually, get you and multiple other employees to contact them.
