His first and only season fully fit with us saw him win the treble and started in the European cup final against Bayer Munich. Back up to giggsy and what a back up too have, the epitome of a man utd winger, electric turn of pace, trickery, great balance, hard working(attack and defend) and the odd goal in his locker. Not to mention he was left footed!

He actually scored the goal that knocked us out the champions league, back when he played for Gothenburg, in the days when we could only field 3 foreiners in European competition(that's inc. British isles- yes giggs and Irwin included)
