Big Bang Theory producers sued over use of Soft Kitty song



The children of a New Hampshire teacher are suing the producers and broadcasters of the hit US sitcom The Big Bang Theory for its use of a nursery rhyme their late mother wrote in the 1930s.

Warner Bros, Chuck Lorre Productions, CBS, Turner Broadcasting and Fox are among those named in the lawsuit filed on Monday by Ellen Newlin Chase and Margaret Chase Perry, daughters of Edith Newlin, the original author of the song Soft Kitty.
