Vasectomy Completed! (self.MGTOW)

So, after a divorce from four years in a bad marriage (no kids, thankfully), and almost forty years old, I decided to go under the knife and have a vasectomy. It was almost completely painless, with only a sharp tug or snug here and there. Once I was prepped the entire procedure took less than fifteen minutes.

Why bother with it? Because I've gotten more pussy in this past year than in the entirety of my four years of marriage and don't want to risk an unplanned pregnancy.

MGTOW all the way, brothers.

As I approach 40 I'm thinking of doing the same.. I'd like to have a kid, but at the same time I don't need to be paying child support until I'm 70..

If you want a kid, maybe adopt? The idea of creating your own child is mostly societal propaganda / life script tm mentality.

I apply the same mentality to human children to pets: shelter pets = save a life; buy breeder pets = expensive silliness that adds to the problem of overpopulation

Idk, be nice to have kids when I'm older to take care of me.. Of course, just because I'm close to my family doesn't mean my kids won't be turned against me

Adopting is pretty difficult. There seems to be a shortage of children, so adoption agencies tend to be fussy. They mostly prefer young married couples and there's all sorts of hoops to jump through.

Awesome! I'm on week 3 after my procedure and while it started off bumpy and scary (I didn't think I would be susceptible but I guess I am a bit susceptible to paranoia) I feel much better now.

There's way too many vasectomy horror stories. I'd probably recommend not looking them up. Rest up and commence partying!

Yeah, I went with a very reputable doctor. Glad I paid the $100 extra compared to other places. This isn't something I wanted done cheaply! 38 y/o here.

Once you are able to know that you dont have to have illusions for the sake of a future child about that offsprings mother... its a whole new level of clarity. I simply could NOT look on women with clear judgement until I got fixed.

I personally think I would like to have a kid in the future, so I probably won't have this done, I'm only 27 though.

I haven't had sex with women in quite a while though. I thought that was part of being MGTOW, at least it was for me.
