Prankster Lee Nelson hijacks Trump's Turnberry opening with swastika golf balls
Donald Trump's Turnberry ribbon-cutting ceremony was interrupted by comedian Lee Nelson, who's real name is Simon Brodkin, attempting to hand out golf balls with a swastika printed on them.
"These are the new balls available from the clubhouse as part of the new Trump Turnberry range. I forgot to hand them out before," said Brodkin, who was wearing a wig and a jumper emblazoned with the Turnberry logo.
Secret service quickly surrounded the prankster and comedian, although there appeared to be some confusion about whether or not Brodkin's interruption was genuine.
"I'm very sorry Mr Trump. And thank you, I apologise," said Brodkin, before pulling out the red golf balls emblazoned with a swastika.
A clearly irritated Trump then demanded security "get him out", and secret service dragged Brodkin away.
This is not the first, and probably not the last, stunt like this that Brodkin has pulled.
Last year, he showered former Fifa president Sepp Blatter with fake money during a press conference.
