People are figuring out that these economic agreements may create efficiencies and wealth, but a lot of that wealth is for the already very wealthy. No one seems to care if the average person can't find a good job anymore. In fact, they try to push the need to cut public programs, even though these trade agreements were supposed to create more wealth than before.

NAFTA, EU, TPP, TTIP. Good job to the British for waking up and wanting to manage their own country, democratically and on their own terms. I worry that other countries, and possibly even some pro-EU people in the UK, could try to encourage economic problems to convince the British that they made a mistake. Already, I'm seeing posts and news articles online, trying to increase fear and rip on the decision. I strongly suspect at least some of this is paid-for public relations propaganda.

I sure hope the British stick with their decision and make it work. They'll just have to take care until things get adjusted. Certain products might cost a bit more, but they'll have the ability to force productive activity (that is, jobs) back into the UK. I think their country will increase its real economy, and become stronger and able to provide for its own needs.

It's very important that the UK succeed, so that other countries are not discouraged from democratically and independently controlling their own futures, too.
