The plot thins?

I have an announcement. I am not Karsen. And I am not Hannah. I am Seth's little sister, Olivia. I just couldn't believe Seth got with Hannah instead of Karsen, and I wanted to make everyone look bad. I got into Hannah's reddit account because I wanted it to look like she and Seth caused it. Nothing that has been posted here has been true. I made it all up. I'm sorry for everyone who believed anything. I'm sorry.

I will do anything to show that this is really me and nobody else. Confirmation, whatever you need. Just anything. I made this whole account up on my own and stole both of their pictures off facebook before Hannah blocked me

Not trying to say the cyclists are superior (in fact a lot of the upper middle class MAMIL crowd are pretty douchey), merely that cyclists get mocked for wearing clothing that is suitable for their activity, whereas nobody bats an eye at middle aged non-athletic men wearing athletic clothing related to eg. football even though they haven't been able to get into a three point stance in decades.

EDIT: Full disclosure, I am a football fan and a Raiders fan at that (so I know suffering) but as much as I love the sport I also haven't played a game that didn't involve the name "Madden" since I was a teenager.

I'm aware you can swap the seats (decided not to because I'm selling the bike) but from my experience, the crappier bikes had more comfortable seats.

This is something that confuses a lot of people, but the saddle that is comfortable for a short ride is frequently very uncomfortable on longer rides. A bike saddle (much like an equestrian saddle) is not something you are supposed to put all your weight on, it's something you kind of lean on. You are supposed to rely on your legs to hold much of your weight (just like horseback riding.) For short <5mi rides, this doesn't make a difference and you can comfortably put all your weight on the saddle, in that case a heavily padded saddle seems comfortable. For longer rides all that padding causes pressure in weird areas and you can end up with unpleasant numbness in *ahem* certain regions and saddle sores.

Either the shop is brushing you off or they are a shitty bike shop. There is literally no correlation between the two things. The saddle is replaceable on bikes specifically because it is a very personal preference. Also, the bike pants/shorts are more about moisture absorption than padding.

It's also pretty comfortable if you're actually riding a bike. In fact, significantly more comfortable than street clothes. Also, many of those people are actual fans of professional cycling (or amateur racers.) Unlike fans of say hockey, football, baseball, etc. a lot of cycling fans actually do the sport they are interested in as opposed to just sitting on their asses drinking beer, but nobody ever seems to say that a 350lb guy in a Vikings jersey is "cosplaying".

[–]morgan_lowtech 2ポイント3ポイント  (0子コメント)

Comforts come in many forms.

For some people comfort comes in conformity. In fact, I would say that's the case for many people; when they have a family and have to make choices about their lifestyle it's very very easy to just do what everyone else does. Raising children is a bit terrifying so I understand wanting to have some fixture of stability there, but that need for safety in conformity is what fuels expansive, wasteful suburbs.

it makes them different and we should celebrate and cherish our differences.

When the "differences" are just the color of their luxury hybrid SUVs or the fact that they live in the "Sorrento" gated tract home community as opposed to "Estancia", I don't think there's much to celebrate.

It obviously depends on you, but it's a relatively easy and flat route. Some people will finish in 6 or 7 hours, others will be fighting to do it in 12, but I think 9 is a pretty achievable target if you're in decent shape.

The LA County Bar Association post a guide on how qualified the candidates are. It's somewhat helpful for at least eliminating the people that shouldn't even be considered.

Evaluation Standards

The Committee evaluated the candidates as “Exceptionally Well Qualified,” “Well Qualified,” “Qualified,” or “Not Qualified.” These standards are described in the Committee’s Rules as follows:

To be “Exceptionally Well Qualified,” the candidate must possess qualities and attributes considered to be of remarkable or extraordinary superiority so that, without real doubt, the candidate is deemed fit to perform the judicial function with distinction.

To be “Well Qualified,” the candidate must possess professional ability, experience, competence, inte grity and temperament indicative of superior fitness to perform the judicial function with a high degree of skill and effectiveness.

To be “Qualified,” the candidate must possess professional ability, experience, competence, integrity and temperament indicative of fitness to perform the judicial function satisfactorily.

To be “Not Qualified,” the candidate lacks one or more of the qualities of professional ability, experience, competence, integrity and temperament indicative of fitness to perform the judicial function satisfactorily.

I've never been on it that late, but I've ridden from NoHo to Canoga Park at around midnight and also ridden the east valley portion early in the morning around 6. It's also been perfectly safe. You may pass some homeless people, but they are usually minding their own business.

Well, outside of the truecels I think you're right: there are a ton of men that fetishize female virginity, and that's weird and probably related to both insecurity and power dynamics. For these gentlemen though I think it's just because they have the sexual maturity and intelligence of 12 year olds.
