So I just got finished watching Central Intelligence. I won't spoil it, but I will say what watching this has really made me realize. Every movie nowadays has to have some sort of love story bullshit sappy shit to it. I can barely watch movies without there being some chick in the middle of the movie that ultimately makes any situation worse than what it is. Like I wanna watch a movie or a show where things don't just happen literally because xyz character has a wife or such and such. A good example of this is the tv series, The Following. It features Kevin Bacon, part of the FBI whom also works with his niece. He has a wife but because of things that he has seen in his life on(mainly) and outside of the job, it's hard to cope with at times and his wife does NOTHING to help him get better aside from nagging him to "GET OVER IT!". Events begin to happen strictly because of his wife and in the end of it all it was left on a cliff hanger(series finale). There are so many movies that do this, and same with tv shows. It's hard to enjoy entertainment when this has become such the norm and it's so repetitive. How do you guys feel about entertainment as a mgtow?
