The blue pill isn't an ideology. It is just anything that TRP is not. This sub is specifically a satire of TRP.

However this sub does lean significantly left and many members do seem to be feminist. It should also be noted that feminism is an ideology of equality, which is antithetical to TRP, so many people who have felt attacked by TRP's anti-women rhetoric have flocked here.

Mind if I ask why you think people of both genders should be treated equally?

Feminism in its current form is not about equality. Because we already have gender equality other than a few social norms that will only go away with time.

feminism is about gender equity. equality is measuring everyone by their ability to piss their name in snow.

Give me a funnel to pee in and I'll be paid as much as my male counterparts?! How has no one told me before?!

See, I'm confused by that given salary discrepancy, the lack of even somewhat equal representation for women in positions of power, the barriers put up for women to make choices about their reproductive health as well as the fact that rape culture exists to the extent that it does. I don't believe that one gender should be given preferential treatment above the other, especially in our legal system, and I have a hard time believing that the current state of gender equality is possibly as good as it could get, much less good enough. Not when someone spends longer in jail for having weed on them than a rapist.

They're not. Literally look up gender wage gap myth and you'll see that feminism's biggest argument s invalid.

It's not though. Women with children are less likely to be hired, whereas if a man has children, he is more likely to be hired, which effects the pay gap. The pay discrepancy is pretty significant when a woman works in a male dominated field and she is very often paid less, whereas a man is often paid more if he works in a female dominated field, which effects the pay gap. Women are generally given an incredibly low amount of maternity leave which leaves them with the choice between going back to work after a physically traumatic experience or losing their job, which effects the pay gap. Of course, that depends on whether she has a job to go back to, as many companies find ways to let someone on maternity leave go, which effects the pay gap.

The unfortunate reality is this: women's sexual organs make their lives very difficult in ways that men's sexual organs do not (the source of the suffering is the uterus/ovaries if you want to understand TERFs). The only way to actually achieve equality is to handicap men.

I would say most are, yes. But you don't need to be feminist to post here. Just shit on TRP and have a ball.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would be opposed to feminism, unless they're a reactionary or their definition of the term has been poisoned by negative spin, but to each their own.

Being feminism is like being anti-racism. Almost everyone knows that racism is bad, just like everyone knows that being sexist is bad. We have achieved equality, women have the same rights as men.

We have achieved equality

Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha.

Well, not exactly, as women's reproductive rights are under constant attack by the government.

Regardless, feminism isn't just about legal rights. It's also about social change, including, for example, the double standards regarding male and female promiscuity.
