EDIT: All right this is getting stupid. You don't hit someone back just because they give you a minor slap unless you're in first grade. What justification has he got? He wasn't acting in self defence, he just saw red mist and fucking whacked her. If she were a guy his reaction would still be unnecessary. Who gives a shit what the rules of the show were. He should have walked off stage and taken her to court for battery. Instead he's just fucked himself over.

I feel sorry for the dude but it was exactly what that show was about, and he knew that going in. I guess fortunately his career doesn't seem to've suffered too much, whereas her's has gone nowhere... I think.
