Whacha cookin? (self.MGTOW)

For some years prior to my present situation I had just not kept much of a kitchen. Whether because of roomates or house habits etc.. being a whiz in the kitchen just wasnt a priority. Fast forward to present...I've found myself in a nice little spot..no roomies.. and most definitely no female presence likely on an ongoing basis. With no plans of moving base ever and a small kitchen present..I kinda went nuts. This pantry stocking and kitchen gear quest...wooooh! And I discovered something interesting..I got BOTH my parents talents..not just Dad's iron will but also Mom's kitchen witchery. Everything from wicked good kombucha to making rice. My latest thing..I want to salt my own duck eggs and use them for a wicked good and flavorful carbonera.

What are you cooking to gnosh on as you go your own way?

I've been making all sorts of things in the kitchen. Like you I never really gave much thought to the kitchen but I'm really enjoying cooking now, I even signed up for some classes to help expand my knowledge.

Lately though I've been focused on making desserts and baking. I've never been good at making things like cakes before even when I followed the instructions but I'm improving and really enjoying myself at the same time. Cooking has quickly become one of my favourite hobbies in recent times.

I like to make spicy stir fry. I mix it up and try all kinds of recipes. The best part is I liberally use ghost peppers and carolina reapers. It aint exactly fine dining but man is it good.
