I was just there on Thursday. I didn't see this on it, but someone did carve "fuck" above his name. I got a pic of me flipping off his star

Edit: whoa, seems like I offended a lot of people. That wasn't my intention, I was just goofing around with my friend in Hollywood. Also it seems like y'all have an unhealthy obsession with trump

Why are you people so mad

[–]LittleSugarBabysBabeEast Los Angeles 14ポイント15ポイント  (14子コメント)

Because they're supporting a racist and they hate when people insult him.

Because vandalism is impotent bullshit and Donald Trump isn't the one who has to clean it up, some poor soul making $8.90/hour does. Congratulations, you really stuck it to Trump.

TIL flipping off something is literally vandalism

Flipping off what? I'm talking about the vandalized walk of fame star that some poor janitor making $8.90/hour has to clean up.

Plus, it motivates any Trump supporters to reinforce their idea that Trump opponents are petty vandals.

You can feel warm and fuzzy about this shit but aside from circle jerking amongst people who agree it actually has a negative impact for your longer term interests.

But LittleSugarBabysBabe was responding to people getting pissed at me flipping the star off. I don't condone vandalism either but I also don't feel bad for goofing around with my girlfriends and flipping off his star

But /u/littlesugarbabysbabe doesn't seem to understand this sort of thing actually helps Trump, it doesn't hurt him.

He doesn't have to deal with it. If someone did enough damage, there is insurance and now that person can be arrested for a crime. Trump also gets free publicity. Talking Points for his next speech. His supporters are energized. He can say he's been right all this time, his opponents are petty vandals, not interested in making things better but making things worse.

You may support vandalism in this case but most people don't support vandalism in general and people who haven't taken a position yet have reason to say... Shit.... The things Trump says are true, I don't want my stuff vandalized and who knows where they'll stop.

Not only have you not hurt Trump, you've helped him in numerous ways.

Were you meaning to respond to me? You quoted me saying that I don't condone vandalism so I'm confused by this response

Well first that poor soul cleaning a Hollywood Star would be making our $10/hr minimum wage. Second you can't say Donald Trump doesn't deserve all this hate. What do you expect people to do when you go around insulting them and their culture, religion, and existence? Of course people are going to vandalize every bit of property this guy is affiliated with. Vandalism or not, the guy deserves what's coming to him as long as ignorant comments keep pouring from his mouth. It's 2016, don't be surprised that people are fighting back against those who are trying to put them down.

What hate? Someone vandalizing a walk of fame star? That's not hate. That's impotent vandalism that doesn't impact the man himself at all and only enflames his supporters and reinforces the idea that people who are anti-trump are petty vandals.

What do you expect people to do when you go around insulting them and their culture, religion, and existence?

I expect them to not prove his point by supporting vandalism. If you're better than what he says, BE BETTER! You don't prove someone wrong by taking the low road and in doing so confirming what he's saying.

Of course people are going to vandalize every bit of property this guy is affiliated with.

Isn't that what he says his opponents do in general? How does that not prove his point? He's not cleaning up this crap and if someone caused enough damage his insurance would cover it and they would be arrested if caught. That doesn't impact him at all. Well, maybe not at all, he may laugh about it and use it as ammo and rhetoric in his next speech. Vandalism actually probably helps him. Free publicity. Talking Points for his statements. His supporters are invigorated.

Vandalism or not, the guy deserves what's coming to him as long as ignorant comments keep pouring from his mouth.

I respect and appreciate the rule of law, not mob mentality and petty crime impotently protesting an individual and reinforcing his supporters.

What's worse is you don't even see how this helps him, it doesn't hurt him one bit.

It's 2016, don't be surprised that people are fighting back against those who are trying to put them down.

Vandalism is fighting back? You must really feel empowered knowing his walk of fame star had a mute sign painted on it.

No that's the behavior of a five year old and it's embarrassing
