The problem is that your first reaction to my post (which was a comment on how the show is now being marketed rather than a dig at any particular group of fans) was to clutch your pearls and go on an ill-advised rant about how offended and disgusted you were. The fact that you, as a straight person, are using a discussion about an oppressed group to play a victim angle speaks volumes to me.

Maybe if you spent a little bit more time listening to the perspectives of actual LGBT people instead of patting yourself on the back for being an "ally" you wouldn't have received this kind of reaction.
