Are match tickets really that expensive? (self.reddevils)

Me and my father are planning a trip to England to watch the first game of the season. However when looking up tickets they happen to be 300 pound? (Over 4000 kroner where in norway) That is absurd. Are there any alternatives? Cheaper? Help would be apreciated
