Meh, you also accept cramped spaces, old shoddy construction that you just build around, and living in cities more than the US does. Don't get me wrong, I love Europe, plan on visiting again soon. But this gif probably also has a big backyard with trees and a fire pit and just plain old more space, 2 stall garage at least, pool, jacuzzi, etc. You literally have to be filthy rich to afford that in most of Europe.

Euro construction is charming though. And I've seen Top Gear, many housing Estates are shit, and the news in France shows me the immigrants are living in clearly shoddy buildings built lighter than this.

North of Sweden checking in. We have more cheap land then we know what to do with. Hence summer cabins everywhere.

Canada has a lot of land too. But want Sweden myself love Nordic lands.

Only when you're talking about space in/near cities. Land is (relatively) cheap everywhere else (again depending on country but still), so the garden isn't that much of a problem.

The multiple garages and a big house are though, I'll agree to that.

And as everyone has pointed out, our McMansions lack charm at the least. Still for a few years it'll be grand.

You've clearly no idea what you're talking about. Have you ever visited anywhere besides England/Southern Europe? And oh, when you see something on the news, it must be equally true to every single one of the 50 countries that Europe consists of.
