I want to add to this, what SRD is saying about /u/CisWhiteMaelstrom is laughable. I don't know him on a personal level so I won't comment on their remarks about his personality (which how the fuck would they know anyways?), but I will comment on his work ethic in this sub. I've been quite busy this month, but when I do get on; almost always is CWM shuffling through stickies to post the newest best content for all of you, almost always is he informing everyone on what is going on even when he doesn't have to, almost always is he banning people and making sure this place is great for all of you, almost always is he in some way working on this sub, when HE DOESN'T GET PAID TO DO IT. Like me and all of the other mods on this sub, personally we could be doing something better. However we don't because we believe in this movement and we want to make it a great place for everyone, especially CWM.
I really liked JCM. He was very polite towards me and was the one who modded me in the first place. He understood that I was going to be busy this month with my personal issues, but didn't demod me because he knows how much I love this sub. However, when he stepped down it shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone who he would have chosen for head mod. In fact I'd be surprised if he didn't choose CWM. That's nothing against the other top mods, because literally they are all great and put in so much work it's amazing, just CWM is the leader we need here. Us mods have no issues with this, and things are running smooth as fuck.
Anyone who talks about it other wise or believes the lies being spread around are complete idiots. Really, like I said, it's laughable. Nothing else to say really but MAGA.

We are keeping it about Trump, but when there is drama in the sub it needs to be addressed and handled quickly, so it doesn't effect the subscribers we get which could actually be votes towards Trump.
The amount of trolling we are getting and questions we are getting, need to be nipped so we can move forward and keep this sub about Trump, and nothing else.
We have addressed every single other issue, so of course this issue would be addressed also.

Unfortunate that you're getting downvoted. I think a lot of our newer members here don't know or care about this type of thing, but those of us that have been here from the start appreciate these kinds of posts.
We've known the leadership for a long time, and while I doubt many of us believe the rumors it's nice to have things clarified.

This was a throwaway of mine. I was a long time submitter of nothing but OC to The_Donald. I've already voted for Trump, too. (I included these sentiments in my original post, but SRD mods made me take it out)

I am happy you were given time off and I don't want to be petty and complain, but I find this a bit unfair. I had contributed greatly to this sub and was very active as a mod, then I took one week off for a marriage cruise and another half week because I got very ill. In my case I got booted even after I explained and I'm still scratching my head over that one. That aside, I support this mod team and have always viewed ciswhitemaelstrom as having the most presence. It makes sense that he becomes the head mod.

I think that my favourite part of all this is how about a week ago Cis stickied a post explaining how he deliberately created drama as a mod of /r/The_Donald to generate exposure. Now it's happening again, and just like with Trump's campaign almost everyone has been blindsided.
What does that tell you about the average redditor? They literally had it laid out for them, point by point, and yet when it's done obviously in front of them, they fall back to clucking about it. My god, you could probably PM them a link to the post and they'd still ignore it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cis planned this.
