As many of you may already know, yesterday the head mod of /r/The_donald was called out for being a racist rapist and there was a good amount of discussion about this and also some proof to go along with it. Of course this proceeded to trigger the ever living shit out of the trumpeteers and the quote "I could definitely get away with raping the illegals near me" was posted to on /r/Cringeanarchy and ended up their 2nd highest post for the whole week. This caused it to go to /r/all and it now has almost 3800 upvotes and almost 1300 comments.

So here's where the problem starts. For those of you who may not know, /r/Cringeanarchy is friends with /r/The_donald and /r/Mr_trump which is fine on it's own because I can enjoy one sub without the other two but the issue is that the mods of /r/Cringeanarchy are purposely ruining the thread so its difficult to read and have good discussion by putting it into "contest mode."

What contest mode does is it hides the scores, randomizes all the replies and forces you to click show replies to see anything but the parent comments. This is sleezy as fuck and while they may not be outright nuking the entire thread its pathetic seeing a sub that's supposed to be about people saying cringey shit get so butthurt when the cringe comes from someone they support. I fully understand that /r/Cringeanarachy is a shitpost sub but that doesn't mean any type of real discussion should be censored.

If you look at the rules on their sidebar rule #6 is "People usually post things that get removed from the original subs, but again, all good cringe is welcome here." If being a serial rapist and bragging about it isn't cringe, I don't know what is.

TLDR: /r/Cringeanarachy mods are a bunch of spineless pussies who can dish it out, but not take it.
