As Lilo once perfectly put it in her movie, Lilo and Stitch, “Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind and forgotten.” It’s a saying that rings true, and it’s a perfect way to explain what The Walt Disney Company has just done for the entire Orlando, Florida community. Following the events of the Pulse night club shooting over the weekend, Disney World has donated an astonishing $1 million dollars to the OneOrlando Fund. “We are heartbroken by this tragedy and hope our commitment will help those in the community affected by this senseless act,” Walt Disney Parks and Resort chairman, Bob Chapek, explained in a press release.
Hello GigglesWhat was surprising about President Obama’s denunciation of Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant terrorism policy Tuesday wasn’t the fact that Obama never mentioned Trump by name. “We now have proposals from the presumptive Republican nominee for President of the United States to bar all Muslims from emigrating to America,” an angry Obama declared as the nation’s emotions remained raw from Sunday’s slaughter of 49 people in Orlando, by a killer who professed support for radical Islam. What was surprising was that the nation’s top military officer stood by the President’s side as the commander-in-chief issued an extraordinary public rebuke of the man seeking to be that general’s next boss.
TimeHere’s a sign from a Dairy Queen in Elyria, Ohio sending a shot at Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry in advance of Game 6 of the NBA Finals. It is quite funny: Game 6 is going to be crazy right? Also, this made For The Win‘s staff crave ice cream. Good job, DQ of Elyria, Ohio.

KSWB - San DiegoA blue shark that seemed to be stranded in shallow water in the beaches of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was hauled out of the water by beach-goers and lifeguards. A video circulating on social media shows a group of men, reportedly lifeguards from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, approaching the shark with ropes and a small fishing net. Once the animal was tied up, they pulled it out of the water, and people at the beach posed for photos with the fish. One man is seen putting a lifesaver over the shark’s head to keep it from biting. After an undetermined of time out of the water, the shark died. Photos and videos are circulating online. “Absolutely disgraceful behavior to entertain tourists!”
Fox News LatinoLieutenant Commander Rebecca Landis Hayes, a former Navy physician, was working a half day and trying to find the perfect cake to celebrate a colleague's upcoming baby shower when she ran to a neighborhood grocery store in Concord, North Carolina, and parked in a spot designated for veterans.
