edit: Lots of hobbyists and devs who think they know more about ops than they actually do on here apparently.

Experienced and well-placed dev and former ops here: I use it daily. It's always where the server I want to get to for that use is regardless of what I'm currently typing on. It also gives a decent view of things like structure without a heavy client or \G tricks.

It's just a tool like any other DB client.

So funny how people whom I've never seen with a negative score for anything in HQG (matt and Earl) suddenly have all of their comments here either marked controversial or are in the negatives and all the upvoted "supporters" have just about equal scores.

Careful brigaders - don't want to get your accounts shadowbanned by admins. The post may look "normal" to you strangers, but to us regulars it's obvious vote manipulation.

My main concern is actually the two copies getting out of sync. The subs seem to change in bursts. Though there hasn't been a recent edit, in a single day a bunch can be added or removed. If both of our lists gets a bunch of additions at once, it'll be a little bit of a pain to go through all that markdown.

On the personal front, I don't mind so much. I would have to check with the other mods before I said something like "go for it" though - I'm only representing myself right now. Don't want any of them getting mad at either of us. If you opt for a copy, just drop us a courtesy modmail if you would please. It'll keep us on the safe side. :) I don't think anyone would care if you direct linked.

Thank you for the sub. I know how hard maintaining lists like this can be. Finding lots of new subs I didn't realize existed.

/u/IranianGenius, your GIF list is pretty sparse. The mods over at /r/HighQualityGifs (of which I am one) actively maintain a list of over 200 GIF subreddits.

You can link to ours on your page if you wish. Please don't copy it wholesale because it would eventually be way out of date again (aside from the general "we worked hard on that" suckage of having someone copy it).

Hines was only in film in the 80s and Ford was only on the radar in the very late 70s. I can see this being for the early 80s, but not the 70s.

It's likely the user doesn't even know it happened. The right thing to do is to mention it to them and give them a chance to remove the dupe if they want.

By the time I looked, he'd lost more points than gained because everyone was piling on the downvotes on the dupe.
