Cannot toggle god mode
Hello fellow Fallout fans,

I downloaded the mod that enables console commands in survival mode. I previously tried to enable console commands during the survival beta with a .bat and auto.exe file, but could not get it to work so I deleted/cleared those files. The new mod enables console commands, but for some reason I cannot enable god mode. Everytime I type tgm it only says "god mode disabled." I do not seem to be able to enable the console command. I've looked around forums, but my issue seems unique. I would appreciate any help or advice on the issues.

Sort of defeats the object of "Survival".

bump, and about it being unfair, I use it to make my settlements, not for combat. Posts about how I shouldn't use it are not helpful.

Stop messing with the console, just put this in your Fallout4.ini instead

bInfiniteItems=1


With that, whenever you're building your settlement it doesn't use any resources.
The only time you'll use resources is making food, armor, armor mods, weapons, and weapon mods.

Maybe the OP uses the console in building mode like i do, actually being able to move objects into the collision meshes of other objects, so you can make walls without gaps inbetween and such things ;)

@OP i didn't even find the mod which does that yet, do you have a link?

It's a long middle name.
I'm Scandinavian.

Any ideas as I'm having same issue as OP?

I'm having the same issue as well, would love a solution.

Oh and since we apparently need to justify the way we play this single player game, I'm using a mod that adds a new workshop location, but can't start building since it requires me to clear the nonexistent enemies from the area. Mod author's solution is to enable god mode. (although being elitist about these things is dumb as hell, fyi)

tgm is disabled in survival mode. end of.
no more free-rom development using spawned benches.

however,, look for the Conquest Mod from nexus.
its a consolidation until someone brings back tgm..

i dont know if you can toggle it in very hard mode but if you keep it in your auto bat in your ini then it will work. but as i say, Not for survival mode.

Yeah I decided to just stop playing in survival mode since it's pretty poorly done anyway, and that level of policing people's playstyles is ridiculous.

Survival Mode disables godmode, they were meant to disable other "cheat-like" commands, but didn't bother to.

Tried that. It didn't work.

You know I see you around these forums a lot and on every thread I see you on all you do is complain about people asking questions. If you have nothing relevant to say don't say anything. If you really must know why I want to enable it, it's because I use OCDecorator to add clutter to my settlements and it's extremely tedious to collect every piece of clutter for a large settlement.
