Silly season has returned for the 4th summer on /r/reddevils!

Most of you know the drill.

For those who don't...From today until the window closes, a transfer round-up & discussion thread will be made every day. In these threads, ANYTHING can be talked about. Any player, in or out, any transfer fee, anything!

Now, with these threads starting, this means that rumours submitted as separate posts will be removed unless they are from reliable sources!

It's kind of a lose lose situation. If they get knocked out early yeah he might sign the contract but might go to the Olympics as well.

After I heard he was going to the Olympics I don't really care if we get him or not. He's a 35 year old that will have played 12 months straight by the time he makes his debut for us

As well as the fact that he might have to adjust to the league (hopefully not) but if we have no preseason with him to mold into the team I can see it going very badly.

highly doubt a guy like Zlatan goes to the Olympics tbh, but you could make the argument of the opposite e.g. he could be like "Zlatan is too big to play in olympics" or be like "Zlatan such a beast he play in Euro's and Olympics #ItsNotAboutTheGear"

Yeah sometimes. Every squad has the ability to pick 2 3 over 23's, these are usually high profile players. Personally I think it's ludicrous that football is in the Olympics.

Bundesliga player of the year I think who is having problems renegotiating his contract with Dortmund with reports that he wants to join us. His agent is being one of the main instigators in stirring up the rumour. Had the best season of his career playing RW so would fill that position well for us.
