Amber Heard Withdraws Her Request For Spousal Support From Johnny Depp

14 June 2016
Amber Heard is no longer interested in receiving maintenance payouts from her estranged husband Johnny Depp during their divorce process.
The actress has been granted a restraining order against the Hollywood actor after she alleged that he was physically abusive towards her, now Amber has withdrawn her request for spousal support because she believes that Johnny’s team is using it against her.

In legal documents obtained b TMZ, the 30-year-old says that her request was being used “to distract and divert the public away from the very real issue of domestic violence”, which is why she is no longer interested in receiving the money.
Her lawyer previously claimed that Amber had only asked for short-term monthly payments because she thought it was standard procedure in a divorce case.

The star was able to obtain a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her husband, forcing the father-of-two to stay at least 100 yards away from her and home, with a judge deciding later this week whether to extend the order as the other details of their divorce are finalised.
Yesterday it was reported that Amber was forced to call the police when members of Johnny’s team entered her home to remove his items, with the action potentially violating the restraining order even though Johnny was not present at the time.

Johnny has denied all of the domestic abuse allegations against him.
