Maria "Remi" Creveling was previously the support for Renegades.
Biography
Maria "Remi" Creveling is from Los Angeles, CA in the United States. Originally a GunZ: The Duel player, Remilia moved to League of Legends in early Season 1. She achieved a Gold rating in that season, then Platinum in season 2, and Diamond in season 3.
Season 3
Remilia had very little competitive experience before Season 3 when she was picked up as a sub for Curse Academy to play in an NESL match. Eventually she was moved to the main roster, competing in the MOBAFire Challenger Series as their support. In August 2013, Remilia left Curse Academy and was eventually replaced by Tsatsulow.
2014 Season
After leaving Curse Academy, Remilia joined No Big Deal and played in the play-in for the NACS Spring Series #1. They defeated Pink Pwnys in the first round but then lost to Curse Academy. In the play-in for the second series, they lost to Team LoLPro in the only round; soon after, they disbanded.
In May 2014, Remilia became one of the founding members of Necrofantasian in another attempt to qualify for the NACS, this time the Summer Series #1. In a surprising upset, they defeated Team 8 in the semifinals but then lost to Area of Effect in the second round and did not qualify. The team disbanded in June.
2015 Preseason
Remilia joined Team Dragon Knights in October 2014 under the name TDK Coda, and they played in the Challenger ladder to attempt to qualify for the Spring Expansion Tournament. The team placed 12th on the ladder, ahead of Noble Truth, and were in a qualifying position for the tournament but did not participate.
On December 19th, Remilia was announced as one of the members of a new Challenger team Roar, founded with herself and teammates Lactea, Inori, Xiasu and Chaox. The team aimed to qualify for the 2015 Summer LCS after a bootcamp in China. With Roar, Remilia competed in the NACS 2015 Spring Qualifier, but they were knocked out by Cloud9 G2A in the first round.
2015 Season
In early March, it was announced that Remilia would be joining a new Challenger team along with Alex Ich and Crumbzz that was currently trying out top laners and AD carries, with candidates Intense and RF Legendary.[1] Before that team was officially announced as Misfits, she substituted for Team Dragon Knights in week 5 of the NACS Season as their AD carry along with Alex Ich and RF Legendary. The team went 2-0, and Remilia had the highest KDA in the regular season after their two games.[2] Starting in April, Misfits participated in and won the AlphaDraft Challenger League. In the NACS Summer Qualifier, Misfits defeated Also Known As, Team Liquid Academy, and Magnetic to qualify for the summer season. Prior to the start of the season, Misfits rebranded themselves as Renegades.
Renegades finished the Challenger Series regular season with an 8-2 record and in second place, after losing a tiebreaker to Team Coast. However, in the playoffs, they defeated Imagine 2-1 and then Coast 3-2, in no small part thanks to Remilia's own play on Thresh and Morgana. This victory sent them directly to the 2016 NA LCS Spring Season, filling the spot left open by Team Dragon Knights's autorelegation. Though she had stated plans to leave the team after qualifying to the LCS, after their victory against Coast, she stated she would reconsider and ultimately decided to remain with the team.[3][4]
2016 Season
Remilia renamed to Remi going into the 2016 season. After AD carry Freeze had visa issues prohibiting him from playing for three games and the team had a 1-5 record over the first three weeks of play in the LCS, Remi stepped down from the team's starting roster, citing anxiety and self-esteem issues as motivators.[5] She was replaced on the starting roster by Hakuho.
