You know what....I am a teen and I'm fed up of seeing posts like this. Yes some of us get way to obsessed with certain queens and take offence to everything. Others actually post valuable and welcomed posts on this sub.

We have been alerted by the mods that we are fine to continue posting this sort of stuff (yeah I agree I don't want it cluttering up the sub) but this post not only ties into the events that have happened but also appreicates a type of drag so calm the fuck down felicia

a lot of people know of them (my mother who is quite an old traditionalist who isn't to interested in gay culture knows what they are) I think it's more that the newer generation aren't learning specific names such as marsha P. Johnson or Storme Delouvre. It's like phi phi not watching paris is burning....she knew what it was and what it stood for but did not really care about the names or the people behind it. The younger generation are slowly forgeting the people who carved the way

i'm not sure. Thorgy loves dancing and Acid has a Bachelor's degree in dance. I can see them meeting and thorgy discrediting the older queen until they have a dance off and then she realises she has just found the craziest drag queen in new york.

If you have no way to make it happen yourself then pop online to a t-shirt printing company and order a personalized one. On another note I love this idea the "/" of the y could lead on into a flag pole with the pride flag on it at the end of stay

As a scottish fish I've become so used to having to refer to myself as from the united kingdom, british isles, great britain and occasionaly english but this is the ifrst time I've ever had to refer to myself as from west europe....it feels weird

sorry to point it out to you but the shooting is to do with drag race. Multiple queens from the show were there, the organiser of the drag race tours was killed along with many friends/family memebrs of the community. I personally don't subscribe to /r/drag as I feel I find more to the point information online/social media whereas the /r/drag sub is a bit to cluttered with everything for my liking. Most people on this sub are aware of the other drag subs but choose to be a main part of this one. Many people here are also very aware of non-rpdr queens considering the amount that show up on season wishlists. This sub is about drag race but as it is off-season and the biggest mass-shooting in american history happened as a hate crime against the lgbt+ community I think people are more grateful for information being shared than being censored... sideeyes /r/news

I agree that this sub should mainly be about drag race....but I think we can make an acception for the next few days. This sub is the largest in terms of the drag community so many people rely on it for information/updates about drag in general.

you know another man once thought an entire religion hated his community.....that man was called Adolf Hitler.

Small thoughts like these....forcing member of religions/races into one small box and labeling them may seem harmless but if enough people start to believe them then we have a crisis on our hands.

This attack was not christians or muslims hating lbgt+.....it was Isis a group that in no way represents the views of an entire group of people
