Here's our posting guidelines

Rule #1: No spam, porn, or piracy

Violating this rule results in an instant permanent ban. Emulation discussion is fine. Telling people to pirate is not.

Rule #2: No affiliate or referral links or ads

This includes Amazon, GMG tap links, Star Citizen, etc.

Devs, want to advertise your game? Get verified!

Rule #3: No URL shorteners or mobile links

These are automatically filtered and removed.

Rule #4: No memes. All image posts must be in a self/text post with proper context.

"Master race" meme language is also prohibited.

Rule #5: No tech support questions and/or "Will my computer run this game?" questions

Those go in /r/pcgamingtechsupport or /r/techsupport depending on how gaming specific the question is.

Rule #6: No questions about buying/building computers, peripherals, or furniture

Those go in /r/buildapc (you can ask about chairs and tables there too), /r/buildapcforme, or /r/SuggestALaptop.

Rule #7: No requests for game suggestions or friend requests

Those go in our official weekly "What should I play" threads, or try /r/Playdate, /r/gamingsuggestions and /r/shouldibuythisgame.

Rule #8: No Let's Plays or highlight reel videos

You can post them in our monthly self promotion thread. In addition to this, Youtube links posted by new accounts are filtered due to channel spamming.
