Silly season has returned for the 4th summer on /r/reddevils!

Most of you know the drill.

For those who don't...From today until the window closes, a transfer round-up & discussion thread will be made every day. In these threads, ANYTHING can be talked about. Any player, in or out, any transfer fee, anything!

Now, with these threads starting, this means that rumours submitted as separate posts will be removed unless they are from reliable sources!

Valencia, CBJ, Rojo, Blind, Darmian, Shaw, Bailly. Think that's enough full back cover tbh. Valencia has played very well there since his return and if Darmian recovers his early season form we'll be spoilt for choice.

From what I've seen from Kyle Walker this season I'd like us to test the waters for him. Fast, Strong, Skillful and premier league proven and English.

I think we're interested in him but trying to buy players from PSG are a nightmare. Also think he only just signed a new contract until 2020. I haven't really heard much about him or how happy he has at PSG either so maybe he could force a move?Would be a real statement of intent by United.

Edit - Also good to point out that the rumours are PSG want Higuain to replace Ibra and he won't go for less than his release clause so they may use the sale of Veratti to fund it. FFP hate PSG, whether or not that's still about because City don't seem to be effected by it whatsoever.

Just silly rumours. PSG don't want to sell, they don't need our money and Verratti doesn't want to move. It's almost impossible to get players from super rich successful clubs like Barca, Bayern, PSG and Real unless those clubs want to get rid of their players. Can't see Verratti leaving Paris this summer.

I feel as though Mourinho has done a lot of work in the past few months in terms of scouting potential players and identifying potential targets. This makes me think whoever we bring in this window will be a player Mourinho has considered and asked for and won't be just a panic buy for the sake of it.

Bailly already seems like a player Mourinho has followed. Therefore if we don't bring say any right winger in, I think it will be down to Mourinho more than us missing out - for example, hypothetically, if we were to be interested in Mikhataryan but he decided to go to Arsenal instead and we end up not getting anyone for that position, it will be out of choice rather than being strung along etc.
