I'm not sure where I stand on the Trump matter, but your resistance to censorship is wonderful, and independent of my political views, I commend your success in getting the truth out. Shame to r/news. The spirit of resistance and tenacity, combined with the intellectual scaffolding to realize when you are being screwed, is an excellent virtue to have for any populace, and I find your willingness to express it so greatly wonderful. Your willingness to challenge the PC status quo is a lesson all Americans, regardless of their Trump opinions, need to understand. The spirit of resistance is what made this country in the first place, and if reinvigorated through actions like this, will MakeAmericaGreatAgain.

EDIT: Wow! Wasn't expecting a sticky and great response! So glad many people agree with my theory. As one user pointed otu, the Streisand effect could not better describe what is going on here. Censoring a group of people only boosts their resolve; it does not intimidate them. It proves to the people in the middle the victimization of the group, which encourages them to support.

Even though I am not a Trump supporter (though I do think there are very legitimate reasons people have to vote for him), I am STRONGLY against the censorship going on here. A simple way to check if a site is biased is to see if it censors media; the fact that this subreddit is (atm) being censored by preventing upvotes proves Reddit has leftism bias. A few mods banning topics on r/news is one thing, but site admins blocking upvotes on this sub is unacceptable.

      While I personally think think that expressing support online is a an especially pointless example of slacktivism, I still think people should be able to express that support, offer their condolences, and offer their commentary in situations like this.

      Admins knocked all your /r/the_donald posts down so that people don't see them anymore.

      They've doubled down and decided to make it obvious they are willing to do anything possible to help push their political agenda (whatever that is) and to keep Trump out.

      I find this to be a tough position because I really dislike Donald Trump and find him to be a clown. However, I also find it very disturbing that reddit would be so blatant about this.
