Hi there. I fought lyme disease for the last 10 years. Its a pretty tough battle sometimes and i know others here are struggling with it here as well. Many people start fundraisers because they go horribly broke in the process. I thought about that too.
Im basically broke from it (500-1000$ a month was the basic stuff), i would get some goverment assistance soon (this needs time as they are slow with the paperwork) and the thing is, it looks like i have to stay here if i dont move away before it. Its quite tricky. I dont have many opportunities here and its not as easy to make music here because the lack of people (explains itself)
But thats not what i wanna do. I dont plan on staying here. I just entered the 30s and im a good musician and wanna still play in a band and follow the dream/passion. It would be cool to move away somewhere where i can be myself and rock the boat. I have a location where living is cheap, sure id have to live on rice and beans but thats worth it. Still 10 hours away from here but when youre broke its not as easy. I would have to sell a lot of the stuff i collected but even that is not worth enough to pay all the bills.
What would you do?
I dont plan to make a living with music only but im confident i can build up a band again that gets good gigs and can tour a bit.
