u/RNews_Mod it's funny you try to deflect the blame on the users for "complaining more about censorship than the actual story," since you and the other mods are actively trying to censor facts about the story which we are trying to discuss. Not only that but a group of you banging your heads against the wall thought it would be just great to delete the most popular post about it showing up on r/all and replace it with a fucking sticky only visible in this subreddit. Just because you're butt hurt about this turning out to be related to Islamic terrorism doesn't give you any right to be PC about this issue. When I have to go to r/The_Donald for news that's when you know you've fucked up.

There was a time when reddit, this thread (and sub) would have been the source that news institutions across the world would have turned to for information on the shooting; both while it was happening, and afterwards with eye witness accounts and support for the victims.

But instead this thread looks like one of those classified reports where every second word is blacked out.

Come on guys. Your community deserves better.

Dear mods, I live in Orlando and was hoping a reddit megathread's comments would be a place where I could come and hear what actual people were thinking and then discussing this tragedy.
