What happened to doge coin? (self.Buttcoin)

one minute it was all the rage and was on track to become the number one alt-coin and now its market cap is relatively small and nobody really cares about it

so what happened?

People pretty quickly stopped seeing it as anything but another get rich quick scheme. The hodl jokes stopped being jokes.

And then once the vast majority of people were in it just for the money the coin started falling. And so those who were in it just for the money were no longer interested anymore.

And that was the end of it. Even though there was some maneuvering during the downslide, it doesn't really amount to anything worth noting.

It just operated like any other pump-and-dump IPO coin.

One word: Cryptsy. Big Vern and his bitches like BitJohn running Cryptsy took a runner and now no one is hardcore manipulating the price like they were. Also, remember that towards the end of Cryptsy when the withdrawals were stopped, DogeButts were one of the only coins being used to let a lucky few get anything out at all- which was then immediately dumped into Buttcoins , driving the price down more.
