My uncle recently passed away because his wife was mentally and physically abusive towards him. Her violent behavior began when my uncle quit his job as a merchant marine to start his own restaurant business. The business failed and my uncle became poor after spending all of his money on it. During the months before his death, my family members who live nearby his place have noticed he was skinny to the point where you could see his bones. Now she was a really good cook but she wasn't feeding him adequately considering he was diabetic. He wasn't receiving enough nutrition and became sick. Eventually, he passed away. My aunts and uncles were telling him to move out of the house to get away from her but he kept making excuses. My dad owns two homes and offered him to move into one of his house that was close by but he declined. If he would have moved out he would have still been alive.
